AudiobookStories.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns from qualifying purchases.
This site also takes part in the Audible affiliate programme and may take part in other affiliate programmes from time to time.
In plain terms: many of the links on this site to Audible, Amazon and other retailers are affiliate links. If you follow one and go on to sign up for a trial, take out a membership, or buy something, this site may receive a commission from the retailer.
- It never costs you more. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had typed the address in yourself.
- You are never obliged to use them. Every product mentioned can be found by searching for it directly, and nothing on this site is hidden behind an affiliate link.
- It does not change what gets recommended. The commission is the same whichever product is ranked first, and no publisher, narrator, author or retailer has ever paid for a placement on this site.
Accuracy, and the limits of it
Everything here is written in good faith and checked before publishing. Even so, this is an independent site run by one person, and some things are outside its control:
- Prices, plans and catalogues change without notice. Amazon and Audible alter subscription terms, included catalogues, regional availability and pricing whenever they choose. This is the reason you will not find a currency figure for an Audible plan anywhere on this site — a stale price is worse than no price. Always confirm the current terms on the official page before subscribing.
- Availability varies by country. Audible operates different catalogues, plans and rules in different marketplaces. An article describing what is available may not describe what is available where you are.
- Articles are updated, not frozen. Every article shows its last-updated date at the top. An older date does not mean the article is wrong, but it does mean you should double-check anything time-sensitive.
